Early Career Workshop (ECW)
Outline
The AustMS-WIMSIG Early Career Workshop (ECW) will be held at the University of Sydney on Monday 30 September 2024, the day before WIMSIG Conference 2024. The ECW will run from 9am to 4:30pm at Lecture Theatre 024, New Law Building Annex, University of Sydney.
All higher-degree research students and early career mathematicians (up to roughly 5 years post-PhD, excluding career interruptions) are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The ECW aims to provide opportunities to develop community amongst other early career researchers and discuss topics relevant to this early stage of your career, with four interactive sessions throughout the day. Catered morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided.
Thank you to AMSI and AustMS for providing financial support to run the Workshop.
If you have any questions, please contact one of the ECW organisers:
